Steve recently had his 3rd shoulder surgery! He wanted to get it done before ski season and of course give himself time to heal before spring sets in. He had his rotator cuff repaired and his bicep tendon re-attached. The toughest part for Steve will be listening to the doctor and following directions - like wearing his sling for 6 weeks without doing ANYTHING! Those of you who know Steve, know this will not be an easy task!

This is a picture of Steve under the gondola at Teton Village. He claims this is where all of his shoulder troubles began. He actually pre-released out of his bindings and landed on his shoulder on the cat track below the red tower you see above Steve's head. Broken bones and crushed cartilage have left him with some serious arthritis problems. Hopefully this surgery will give him some time!

Even though Steve has a crippled wing, it really hasn't slowed him down too much. Eating might be a bit more difficult, but this burger at the Boise State football game was tasting pretty good! Go Broncos!!
